Why is my QR code not working?
Common reasons a QR code will not scan or open correctly, including poor contrast, small print size, broken links and damaged codes.
Check the destination first
If the QR code scans but the page does not open, test the destination URL directly in a browser. The QR image may be fine while the web page is the problem.
Check size and contrast
Very small codes, low contrast colours and busy backgrounds can make scanning unreliable. Dark code modules on a light plain background are usually the safest option.
Check the printed version
A code that works on screen may fail after printing if it is blurred, stretched, cropped or placed too close to other graphics.
